Vernacular Fashion Accessories

New-we find: sometimes, but not always, hand made accessories born of the spiraling hall of mirrors that is our fashion nightmares (and our daytime reality). In fact these new looks are like an attempt to scream oneself out of a horrible endless nightmare. The nightmare, maybe, would be like one of those loop dreams. How can we shake the monotony? Perhaps accentuate your fur with a Vagina Hat? Make your toast into jewelry or use abstract symbolism to make spike bangs in the bill of your hat. A shopping cart is not just a shopping cart but a cage that keeps you sustained (and confined) like a jail for food (below).

Over The Hills And Through The Woods: Freedom Porn Friday

Finding your own path is trending way up right now. Turn your back to the camera that follows your every awkwardly cool move. The internet made you hip, but like communism, you must destroy the status quo. Run away like Moses did the Hebrews to find your own Mt. Sinai: To convene with god. Run away to run inside. The wilderness out there is not as separate from the wilderness encompassed within your flesh, that is to say ones own concept of a dividing line is just that: a concept. Once these lines have dissolved, grab your moleskin notebook and jot down your newest manifesto.

Holding Your Pussy: Styling Trend.

First off we Heart holding your pussy pose at IVH. Not long ago we were dressing up and acting like cats or other animals so it's very refreshing to see people going back to the source of inspiration. Hold it and take a photo of it. I feel like this one almost falls under the inversion theory of hip, but I will let you decide.

Your Week Ahead (It's Monday): Freedom Porn

Shunning The camera and Hearting Nature is a trend that all of us can get into here at IVH. I spend enough time staring through glass things: my computer screen, my car window, my own camera, other peoples cameras, the mirror, my reflection in tinted windows etc. I cant take anymore of it/me/you. So I put weight on my left heel and push with the ball of my right foot and rotate away from the camera staring me down. I turn to the glass less, window less, screen less nature that unfolds forever in front of me.

Photos Of Me For You. Photos of You For Me.

Human's above all other animals love to share information. We can't help it: we love to know about new things, people, and in general share information. This love of sharing in essence makes us who we are and gives us all the things we have. The camera, perhaps more than any other invention, has single handedly advanced this culture of sharing and thus our culture of hip. Without it who would we be? After all, If I am not for myself, who will be for me? And, if I am not for others than who am I?
